Thursday and Friday

On Friday we took a walk to the duck pond.

We had a good time feeding the ducks.

Some kids dropped sticks through the grate and watched them go over the little waterfall into the stream.

Some children crossed the stream on stepping stones. There were a few wet shoes, including mine!

Each child got at least one cattail. Some of the children brought them back to class and others left them at the pond. Elsie and Amylee really wanted me to take the "hotdogs" off the stick so they could eat them!

As soon as we got back to school the fire alarm went off, so we went to our evacuation spot to play.

On Thursday we read "Dinosaurs are Everywhere".

We painted pictures of pterodactyls.

We sorted and counted fruit snacks.

We learned that pterodactyls ate fish, so we counted some gummy fish and ate them.
