Sorry about last week! We had a really hectic week with the red ribbon assembly on Wednesday, Kathy being out of town, and Jamie needing to switch schedules with me on Friday. Hopefully this week will be a little more mellow!
This morning we read "Max and Ruby's Halloween".
We played musical chairs with spooky music.
We looked at some items on a plate, covered it with a towel, took an item away, and tried to guess what was missing.
We estimated then counted candies and Halloween spider rings in jars. Each child got to eat a piece of candy and keep a ring.
We used plastic shapes to trace faces on our paper pumpkins.
We carved a jack-o-lantern, felt it's guts, then ate a pumpkin cookie.
We colored and cut out creepy masks.
We made paper bag pumpkins.
McKyla made up an activity from last week. She had the children make baby seals out of stuffed socks.
Here are a couple of pictures from last week that I never got around to blogging.
